I am a mommy with a precious 4-year-old daughter. My college coursework was focused in Early Childhood Education, and I am certified to teach VPK in Fla. I was a Teacher at two well-known childcare centers in the past. I have been the Teacher in the Infant class room, as well as in the Toddler classrooms. I have my childcare Staff Credentials from the state and I am certified in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid. I have completed my 40 hours of childcare training required by the state as well. I can provide excellent references from the family that I have been working with for the past 2 years. I love working with babies/children and I really enjoy teaching through play and exposure to new experiences. I am great at multitasking and have tons of patience. In my classes at the childcare centers, at I had 6-12 little ones in my care each day. I am very comfortable with groups of little ones, so no worries about multiples/siblings. I ensure that the babies/children improve their fine and gross motor skills, thinking and social skills. I read to them throughout the day and we have music time with singing and dancing as well. We play outside each day (weather permitting) to ensure they are getting their share of the beautiful Florida weather, in an age-appropriate way. I ensure that the parents are comfortable leaving their precious children with me. I do that by communicating in person and by phone/text every day. I want them to be confident that their babies are loved and cared for and SAFE in my hands. Each day I offer to provide a detailed log to the parents outlining their children's diaper changes, food/bottle intake, and sleep times. I love taking the children on outings to playgrounds, library story/music hours, baby signing classes and playgroups each day. I will provide a driving record from the DMV showing an excellent driving record. You will know that I treat your babies as precious cargo! My home is smoke free and I have taken child safety precautions throughout. I will only care for the children in my own home because I have my own child to care for as well. In most cases, I am willing to pick up the children at a specified time and also to deliver them right to your arms after work at your home. That is the arrangement I have with the family I currently work for. I am reliable and punctual. Most of all, I have made my career in childcare and I LOVE it!
