I am a stay at home mom of two looking to keep a maximum of three additional children in my home, Monday through Friday. My oldest is in school and my youngest is 2. I am certified in CPR/first aid for healthcare professionals and am pursing a Child Life Specialist graduate degree in the fall - evening classes and online. I have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development and Family Studies. Over the years, I have worked in formal daycare facilities, taught at a Montessori school and was a Nanny for several children.
I practice Love and Logic with my own children and would provide a fun, loving, family oriented atmosphere for your children. We regularly do arts/crafts, reading tons of books and pretend play. We have a play-scape and an ample yard for outdoor fun.
I am comfortable with some special needs. My youngest requires daily medication (oral and injections). Our house is completely baby proofed with the kitchen gated from the large living room.
