Amiguitos bilingual preschool is a first-class preschool in Westfield, Indiana serving children as young as 30 months through 5 years old. We aim to help children grow and learn through an innovative preschool curriculum with a Spanish immersion experience designed to advance each child's cognitive and social development. Children will learn and explore in a nurturing, stimulating, challenging and playful environment. Lessons and activities are conducted in both Spanish and English, with the intent of accelerating each child's second language acquisition. Activities are developmentally appropriate and culturally diverse
including learning skills in math, language arts, and science.

At Amiguitos, we create a positive environment that encourages children to explore their passions,embrace diversity, and gain the necessary skills that will prepare them for a lifetime of learning. Upon completion of the program we believe that the children's well-rounded experiences will provide them the necessary strengths for emotional, social and academic success.

With our world becoming more and more globalized, there is a significant need for early bilingualism. Knowing two languages gives children many advantages in life. Bilingual children have the advantage of knowing and having experiences of two cultures, of being able to communicate with a wider variety of people, and of possible economic advantages in their future.

Our thematic curriculum is infused with language development, math, creative art, science, sensory experiences, music and movement, learning centers, with an appropriate balance of teacher and child initiated activities. Teachers provide alternating activities using different materials on a daily basis. The curriculum is broken down by weekly themes within each month and provides structure for learning through play and meaningful experiences and activities.

Amiguitos provides an activity based curriculum specifically tailored for children ages 30 months through 5 years and fully potty-trained.

Children will have the opportunity to learn a second language, Spanish, by being immersed daily in the language. We will promote diversity by exposing children to various cultural traditions of the Spanish-speaking world. Some students will have prior Spanish language exposure, while others will not.

Normal operating hours will be from 9:00am to 12:00pm (A.M. session) and from 12:30pm to 3:30pm (P.M. session), Monday through Friday - with 2 to 5 day options.
