Hello All,
My name is Ami and I have been in child care for over 14 years. I was a nanny for a family and their son for 7 years, in Austin, TX. I was with the family from the time their little boy was 4 months old until he was 7, at which time I moved away from the area. Also in Austin, I worked at a Methodist preschool as the lead 2's and 3's teacher, as well as the creative movement teacher. I graduated in 2009 with a Bachelors of Science, majoring in Elementary Education. I also hold my teaching licenses in Texas and Oklahoma. Most recently I was the Pre-K 4 teacher at a Lutheran early learning center in Dickinson, TX. Since my husband and I have moved back to the Little Elm area, I have been a stay at home mom to our two children, 4 and 2 years.
Caring for kids has always come naturally to me and my passion is for teaching. You can be assured that in my home your little one will not only be well taken care of and loved but will learn a lot. I have extensive experience in creating and implementing lesson plans based on child's specific need. It is my goal to meet each child in my care at his or her level and through a play based curriculum and age appropriate, we will learn and grow together.
