Americare Home Care Agency

AmeriCare Home Care Agency was opened in 2005 when the owner and her husband were searching for home care resources for their own elderly parents. AmeriCare is a referral agency for independent professional and qualified caregivers who have a calling and passion for serving others to provide non-medical in-home care services.

There is consistency in caregivers. Once clients have chosen a caregiver, the agency will not remove them unless the client (or caregiver) so chooses to make this change. Having the same caregiver helps to strengthen the relationships and to build a more successful plan of care. However, we will gladly refer a new or substitute caregiver when requested.

Caregivers typically offer flexible scheduling from one hour to around-the-clock care. Caregivers can adjust their schedules with their clients directly to help meet their client's needs.

Clients may choose their own caregiver. We work diligently to find the best-matched caregivers that can help meet a client s specific needs. Clients can then meet with the caregivers face-to-face before they decide which caregiver they would prefer as their care provider.

Caregivers offer flexible care plans and can work one-on-one with their client to create a personalized non-medical service plan.

Clients typically pay a lower than average rate for services and caregivers typically earn a higher than average rate of pay. This makes for greater service and job satisfaction.

AmeriCare Home Care Agency is not the employer of the caregiver referred the client. The domestic caregiver is an independent caregiver. They may be the client's employee depending on the relationship between the two parties. If the client directs and controls the manner and means by which the caregiver performs their work, the client may have employer responsibilities, including employment taxes and worker's compensation under state and federal law. AmeriCare Home Care Agency provides a referral service that is separate from the non-medical in-home care services the independent domestic workers provide. Some of the services the domestic workers may provide include, but are not limited to the services listed below.
