About
Located both in Shreveport and in Greenwood, American Child has served the children of Caddo Parish for over 40 years. We opened our doors in 1976 and are serving our 3rd generation of Shreveport's children. Founded by Dr. Joseph and Mrs. Anne Cutcher, American Child is still operated by the family and still maintains the same principles of quality, safe day care with a strong emphasis on preschool early childhood education, early reading, and school readiness. Many of our staff have been here through two generations of children.
