Amber's Childcare

I am a licensed home daycare located in Denton, MD. I have two children of my own, both boys, ages 6 and 8. I have many years' experience. I started with Child Development classes while a senior in high school back in 2005 we had an actual daycare during class with part-time children. Outside of school, I've worked a total of 4 years in a daycare center. Then I had my first child, two and a half years later, my second. Much experience comes from just them two. I am certified in CPR, First Aid, and Emergency Preparedness. I have taken many different classes to obtain my license. I also have 4 years' experience with disabled children. During my time with them I took many courses on seizures, Autism, Down syndrome, Fragile x, behavioral issues, and more. My oldest son has asthma, so I'm well acquainted with that as well.

As a parent, who has also been in search of daycare, I understand that it can take a lot of time & effort to find a perfect match to care for your child.

I provide a safe & comfortable environment, a nurturing & experienced provider, fun learning, and healthy meals. You can rest assured that your childcare needs will be met.

Each week is a new theme. We do crafts, read books, and take a trip if it's incorporated with the theme.

Arts and crafts, puzzles, sidewalk chalk, play doh, coloring, painting, baking and pretend play toys! We play outside every day and when the weather is nice we are outside both morning and afternoon!!
