I direct a licensed home day care. I have been in business since June, 2000. I am certified by the State of Ohio. I am trained in CPR, Health and Safety, Child Abuse, Communicable Disease and First Aid. I update my childcare learning through in-service training. I have a B.A. in Business. My philosophy of my home day care is to foster a child cognitive, social physical, emotional and perceptual growth. A program that encourages open-ended play and activities. A well planned program that provides young children with adequate time to play, plenty of space, concrete materials and a nurturing safe environment which should enhance a child natural curiosity and intellectual development. Play is key to learning and development. Play develops the skills of language, thinking, planning, organizing and decision making.
