IN HOME BABYSITTER: I have been in the child care industry for over 8 years. During this time, I have worked with children as early as infants up to the age of 7. I have also been a babysitter/nanny for several families with multiple young children. I am CPR certified as well as a Certified Water Safety Instructor. I enjoy providing children with a creative and fun atmosphere where their minds can flourish. Active play is also a big part of what I provide for children throughout the day, which includes going to parks, outdoor activities, and giving each child the opportunity to engage in physical activities which promote the development of fine motor skills. In addition to my career as a babysitter/nanny, I have worked for a pre-school and day camp where I took it upon myself to develop close, personal relationships with my students in order to create an environment where the entire classroom could learn and play. Although I enjoyed my position as a teacher's assistant, I found that being an in home babysitter allowed me to better connect with children on an individual level and give them the personal care they need for positive development.
