Hello. I am an early childhood caregiver with 15 years expirience. I have worked in schools, large centers, home daycares ect. I have decided to open my own small daycare in my home. I have a designated space for little ones.I also live very close by two large parks for outdoor play Welles /Horner. For now, I am only looking for two children to care for(operating M-F 8am-6pm /flexible). My husband and I are trying to start our own family and we will be getting a larger space. As we embark on this journey I would love to have some other friends for our little one when the time comes.
I have extensive knowledge in infant care . I am great with first time parents and can answer any questions you may have. I have completed over 12 hours of course work in early childhood development as my minor. I am registered as an educator and have been background checked through DCFS. (all up to date)
I currently work at a small group home/ daycare and I want to transition into my own . We have 13+ children we care for . I would like to cut down and just focus on a smaller group that has more attention on each child. Even though I am used to caring for multiple children at once , I will also have the help of my mother who is retired from the medical field helping me. She is certified, raised me ,along with my 5 other siblings ,and many grandchildren.
