I am a certified teacher and administrator, looking to offer an in home day care service for children. In being employed full time for the past 12-15 years in the public and private school settings, I have come to learn how vital it is to focus on each child as an individual, embracing their differences while providing a foundation for emotional intelligence. Three out of four of my children are school age and our youngest is preparing to enter kindergarten. My husband has also been a public school teacher for several years and we share in our vision for supporting each child as an individual while promoting positive thought process. My home day care setting provides the opportunity for the nurturing and education that can then be carried on through each child's life. I offer early morning hours through evening hours, recognizing the parental struggles that come into play in maintaining a full time career.
