I have been a childcare provider for over 30 years! My specialty is helping children successfully progress from infant to K-3. I prepare infants for the toddler phase by singing songs, reciting phonics, and reading stories. Next I prepare toddlers for K-3 by helping them learn colors, shapes, ABC's, 123s, songs, and other activities like reading stories, arts and crafts, developing social skills, and name recognition.
One example is Marcia's little son who came to my daycare at 3 months old. When he started Kindergarten at age 5, he was writing his name, pronouncing and spelling words. The teachers were amazed to see how well prepared he was and wanted to know who taught him. His mother proudly responded, "Auntie Cheryl."
Here, at All My Children Childcare, you'll get more than just a babysitter, you'll get a complete learning environment. I'm creative and love coming up with new ways to help children learn. I believe in making learning fun.
