About the business
As the owner of All Fur Love Pet Care I am able to pursue my passion for providing love and care for animals and pets. Prior to moving to Lafayette, I practiced as an attorney in Toronto, Canada. I have lived in Lafayette for 14 years where I've raised my family. I am also involved with my children's schools and volunteered in the office at Happy Valley Elementary.
I have been very active with fostering senior rescue dogs and I am a member and supporter of muttville.org. As a foster family we have so far enabled 28 abandoned dogs to find "forever" homes! Our family's role was recognized in an article titled 'Joy of Fostering' in Bark Magazine.
Providing love and care to these dogs has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
Looking back, my childhood memories include me taking in every stray cat that crossed my path. I once provided shelter for up to six cats at the same time. I guess I haven't changed that much since our family dog, Pip, was one rescue that we just couldn't part with.
If you are like me, your pets are family. If you can't be there for them because of work, vacation, or other obligations you want them to have the same love and attention that you would give. They are quite simply the best dog walking service...ever. They truly take your dogs for a great walk, and leave you a lovely email every now and then telling you how the dogs did, what they did, and how they got along with their furry friends on the walk. Besides providing us an amazing service, All Fur Love Pet Care, completely inadvertently helped our dogs become more social. Before the walks, they were always friendly, but would get excited at barky when they saw other pups on the street. After the walks, and with us walking them, they became less wary of other dogs, and are no longer the loudest dogs on the block.

I have two large dogs and a job that keeps me going at all hours of the day. Because of Maureen at All Fur Love Pet Care, I don't have to worry about my dogs being left alone all day, cooped up inside, or left outside with the changing weather. She takes them for walks and plays with them; by the time I get home they aren't sad and whining. I've seen the way she interacts with my dogs and she treats them as if they were her own. Even when I'm home, she walks them so I can take care of other things around the house. My dogs love her and are always excited to see her. Maureen goes the extra step to do things like bring in the mail, take out the trash, and washes the dogs food and water bowls! Those things although small, really help me out!
