I am a certified teacher that has been working with children from infants to teenagers for over 20 years. I am certified in Art and elementary education. I have worked as an elementary school teacher for one year, a Nanny for many families, worked in a nursery for 10 years and have been a lead teacher for the 2-year-old classroom.
I write monthly calendars based off of topics from Scholastic. We learn two different topics a month. We have a set daily schedule of:
Breakfast
Play
Circle time
Arts and crafts
Outside play
Lunch
Nap
Snack
Outside play
Parents bring food daily & special nap items. There is daily communication done with parents through text messages and an app called Brightwheel.
