Alegria Community Living is a public benefit, non-profit agency formed by a collaborative, local group of parents, professionals, and advocates with extensive experience serving individuals with developmental disabilities in the community. The Alegria Founders and Board of Directors envisioned serving individuals in homes of their own choosing - homes of wellness and beauty - with talented and well-trained support staff.
The word "Alegria" can be translated as happiness, joy, gladness, contentment, and satisfaction. We work hard to live up to that and offer a supportive work environment with opportunities for growth and learning for both the residents we serve and for our hard working team members.
