Welcome to AIM Montessori where Absorbent, Intelligent Minds Grow.
My name is Ruku and I am a certified AMS -American Montessori Society Certified Teacher. I also have a Masters Degree in Early childhood Education. I have been teaching for over 35 years and my love for learning and giving grows stronger each day. Guiding and facilitating children is my passion.
I am registered with Parent Aware and my current status is 11A out of a standing of 12. I have my current CPR, First AID and SIDs training.

Aim Montessori is committed to support the natural curiosity a child has toward his surroundings and the world. I am truly committed to create the "love of learning " which will remain with the child for life. I respect each child and cheer their individuality.

The Benefits of my Montessori Program
I firmly believe my program will help each child succeed and develop their self-esteem. I offer a carefully prepared environment to aid the children to become self-learners. The Montessori curriculum is designed to help children by fostering their curiosity and that allows them to grow from childhood to maturity. The program adapts to the needs of the individual, regardless of their level of ability, learning style, or social maturity.
In the words of Maria Montessori "The education of the very young child does not prepare him for school, but for life"
The program is created to guide your child cognitively, emotionally and socially in an environment enriched to bring out the best in your child. The children will be learning at their pace and the learning will come from within. The "prepared environments" will allow them opportunities to choose from purposeful activities to work with the guidance of a trained adult. The environment develops the whole child not just his intellect. The child learns through his self-direction thereby becoming a self disciplined person.
A day at AIM Montessori includes :Practical life, Sensorial, Language, Math, Science and Cultural subjects include Music, Movement, cooking, and art.
We also include the Creative Curriculum to enhance the day to be a most enjoyable one.
The day is scheduled for children to have various experiences: Morning Group, Individual and Small Learning, Movement, Music, Outdoors.
I provide only Vegetarian Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and 2 snacks. Providers Choice is my Food Program and all my menus are approved by them.
