Our director founded Ahoy Learning with the goal that ALL children should have equal access to the help they need. After witnessing the struggles her family members went through when they were diagnosed with learning disabilities and Attention Deficit Disorder, and having taught young children with numerous forms of autism, developmental delays and speech/occupational impairments, it was clear that something had to be done.

​It became an imperative goal to create a tutoring system that helps all children, with an emphasis on the younger ones. One that does not solely focus on the learning gains, but rather also on the development of the whole child, building a love for learning and boosting self-confidence. This is our mission and we are proud to offer our help to children everywhere.

With over 15 years of experience, ​our team specializes in reading and mathematics tutoring for students in grades PK-5, Kindergarten readiness, SAT (K-2nd) and FSA (3rd-5th) test prep, PK & Kindergarten readiness, and homework help. Over the years, we have developed tutoring packages that fit many family's needs and budget.
