About the business
My name is Adam J, I am a Sophomore at the Carlson School of Management and the founder of Ahead of the Curve Tutoring. I created this business after a year of tutoring for Varsity Tutors as an independent contractor where I saw students who would come to tutoring unprepared, learn the material, and then forget it by the next time we met. I decided I wanted to create my own business that took more involved steps to make sure people were successfully learning what I was tutoring them. Ahead of the Curve Tutoring develops a specific plan to help every student learn, tailored to their specific personality and way of learning. I specialize in ACT tutoring, but can tutor almost any academic subject besides science and math.
