The adult day center (we call it The Fountain of Youth Clubhouse) is an inexpensive and pleasant way for older people who are not safe to be left alone to spend their day. We are open from 10 to 4 daily and all other days and times by appointment. We offer continental breakfasts, a square hot meal at 1, and an afternoon snack. We conduct our services in a country club and spa like atmosphere and focus on health improvement for our members. We have a nursing staff, but we try hard to seem more like a health club. We work with each member's personal physician to design a Wellness Map, which contains daily medical record keeping notes. We focus on exercise and daily fun activities to foster interactions, which have been shown to slow or prevent dementia.
