I am currently running a family child care home. I offer 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts. I was licensed in April of this year (2017). I ran on a 1 star license in the beginning (6 months) as all beginning daycare services are required to do in NC. In October 2017 I was moved up to 3 stars. I have been in child care for 15+ years. I am currently enrolled at a local college to further my education in early childhood education. My child care program is connected with CACFP a program that teaches and reimburses me for nutritional meals and snacks served daily. I am also connected with a program sponsored through UNCG called EQuipd, which is helping me advance to a 5 star rating by educating and equipping me with the correct material and resources to advance my program. I currently have 5 children enrolled on 1st shift and 3 children enrolled on 2nd shift. All of these children have been enrolled in my program since day 1, with the exception of one who was enrolled last month. I offer a Christian based, comfortable, inviting and safe environment for the children and the parents. I have a teacher who comes in 3 hours a day to carry out lesson plans for the week and I have a program set up for children to experience fun play time inside with different centers and fun outside play with a fenced in backyard and locked gate. Also, for children on 3rd shift I provide a comfortable sleeping area. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions.
