The After School Alternative is a Community Centered Child Care Program. Children start early in Kindergarten and often stay through 8th grade. (Sometimes for as long as nine years). The program offers homework assistance, piano lessons, fun field trips, free play time with many activities and really nice people to learn and play with after school. The ASA has many alumni who have gone onto do some pretty great things. From Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader to Ministries in Africa. Our mascot is the turtle where students learn that slow and steady wins the race. By learning early to stay focused and committed to their goals it allows them to succeed later in life.
