Home care services, companionship, transport to run errands and accompany to doctor appointments and/or medical procedures, grocery shopping, wellness visits at nursing home, assisted living or private home, review medical bills and insurance claims, assist with bill paying and applying for Medicare, Medicaid, VA, etc., coordinate end of life planning, advocate for client's for other services, i.e., health care, home maintenance, etc. We assist with implementation of health care advance directives such as HealthCare Power of Attorney, Living Will, etc. Assist with guardianship applications and agent designation. Advocacy Professionals will develop and maintain a portfolio of medical history to ensure duplication of testing, procedures, etc. We are approved by The Alliance of Professional Health Advocates (APHA) and, the National Association of Healthcare Advocacy Consultants (NAHAC). We are professionally insured and offer a 10% discount for all services provided to a veteran. Our hourly rate is just $17 per hour but we negotiate lower rates for 24 hour continuous service delivery. Additionally, we offer a flat rate structure for specific one-time or seasonal services, i.e., cleaning closets, carpet shampooing, lawn care, snow shoveling of sidewalks, light household maintenance, etc. We take great pride in our efforts to match caregivers with our clients preferences and their requested care and/or service needs to ensure the highest standard of service delivery possible. That is why we maintain a consistency with the chosen caregiver(s) so the client isn't burdened with constantly training a new caregiver at each visit. Our home care providers are often older persons that are able to relate to the client's preferences which has proven to enhance our customer satisfaction results. We conduct satisfaction surveys regularly to make adjustments in areas where quality improvement is warranted. Because safety of our clients is paramount, we have a caregiver key code procedure so that the client will know before allowing access to his/her home. To that end, we also require all our staff to undergo a pre-employment criminal background check and verification of their previous employment and personal references. All caregivers must become CPR trained within thirty (30) days of employment and are required to carry automobile insurance coverage to protect secondary to the client's insurance in the unfortunate event of damage due to an accident.…
