Create a safe environment where children are able to build social and emotional skills through self-regulation, relationships, and social problem solving.
Create an environment rich in language, novel experiences, and conversation.
Create an environment rich in mathematical thinking that supports and encourages the learning skills such as patterns, counting and matching.
Provide opportunities for discovery and investigation of physical science, life science, earth and space, and environmental awareness.
Create an environment where children begin to recognize and appreciate similarities and differences in people and understand the roles of the family.
Provide opportunities for children to build awareness, learn how to interact with and understand how technology affects life.
Provide opportunities for children to build life skills.
Build aesthetic awareness, which includes colors, shapes, sounds, taste, and textures.
Create an environment where music is enjoyed.
Provide opportunities for singing, chanting, and rhyming.
Enhance vocabulary and oral language development through music.
Create an environment that supports children learning about God.
