I have had my in-home daycare for over 12 years. I have been a paraeducator in the Harlem School District 122. I work with the children like a preschool. We have workbooks, flashcards, music, P. E., crafts, lots of outdoor play and plenty of activities. I provide nutritious snacks and lunches for the children. We also take field-trips throughout the school year and in the summer we have Adventureland DayCAMP. Every week we highlight a different subject, such as dinosaurs, bugs, animals, and the outdoors. We set up a tent in the front yard (Adventureland Park) and have picnics outside. The children truly enjoy being here and always hate to leave at the end of the day.
