Adventure Academy Child Care

We are excited to accommodate your family's child care needs in our recently built home! We have met many health and safety standards to become state licensed and are working with Care About Child Care to help us set up the best program possible. All those living in the home, as well as our teachers, have been background checked. Our teachers are all required to be CPR and First Aid certified as well as required to have 20 hours annually of training from the state in childcare.

I am a stay-at-home mother of two children who are my world. I have attended parenting classes that have strengthened my understanding of children's developmental years and how to help children learn and grow with positive interactions.

With our child care program, your children will receive one-on-one attention through reading, play learning, outdoor activities, crafts, and much more. They will also develop their social skills as they play with other children in a supervised and positive environment.

We serve 3-4 nutritious meals each day. We have a schedule each day with activities rotating to expose many learning opportunities. We love to read, sing, dance and play with the children. We go on field trips. We try to provide adventurous activities and encourage the children's imaginations.

We also include our preschool curriculum. We use the Waterford Smart Start preschool program. We are big believers in that children learn best through play. We use learning centers which is a big part of our preschool.

We have a great play space for the children outdoors and indoors.

We are currently enrolling children as young as 6 weeks old up to 5 years old on a full-time or part-time basis. We also offer part-time care for children, ages 5-11.

We are open Mon-Fri from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
