Hello everybody, my name is Adam Merchant and I am 18 years old, I am currently a part time student at the College of Dupage and am working to finish my associates degree, and proceed to recive my Business Finance Degree. Growing up, I was raised in West Chicagoland subarbs. Primarly moved throughout different ares of Bloomingdale, a small subarb approximatly 20 Miniutes away from Schamburg (Woodfield Mall Area.) I have a strong passion for baseball as well as Martial Arts. I grew up playing throughout travel leauges up untill I graduated from Lake Park High School, located in the town, Medinah/Roselle. I also recently revived my black belt, graduating from National Karate Chicago.
In the catagory of professional experience, as far as being a caretaker for a child and or young adult, no proir experience has been accumilated. In the sense, of unprofessional care taking, I come from a family with 4 cousins who are younger than myself, ranging from 3-11 years of age. Growing up, I would often find myself caring, and holding responsibilty for children in my family. Me, as well as my peers have percived me to be hard working, caring, as well as an overachiver. My neatness is impeccable, and responsibility levels exceed expectations.
I come from a family of professional photographers, primarly wedding photographers. My father owns his own Wedding Photography Studio. As a decendant, helping my father with his bussiness has taught me values in marketing, accouting, as well as staying orginized to further complete tasks. As for me, I plan to proceed with my profession in the Finance Market, initally as a stockbroker for a financial firm, hopefully leading to a more promising position.
The reason that I have taken steps to look for a job in the caretaking industry, is because I belive I have what it takes in order to properly care for a child, as well as maintain balance in not only mine, but their lifes as well.
With being a bart time student, a basic schedule of available hours is as follows:
