The purpose of Active Academics Center is to leave you feeling at ease and calm while you are at work, while providing your child with engaging experiences that will help them to grow in their educational journey. It is our mission to see every single child soar academically, physically, and emotionally.
Our school has two main classrooms.
Preschool (3 - 4 years)
Pre-K (entering Kindergarten the following year)
We also offer a indoor educational space where children can run, play, and be active during the day!
Our outdoor play area includes our beautiful organic vegetable garden, our exciting naturescape, and our turfed area for children to practice athletics or get some exercise by playing with some of our fun outdoor toys.
We love our small class sizes because it allows us to get to know each child individually. Our educators are able to differentiate our curriculum to meet every single child's needs.
Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday: 9am - 2:30pm
Available extended hours: 7am - 6pm
Active Academics Program Schedules:
10 Month Program: Your child would be enrolled September - June. This schedule follows the Valley Stream Public School calendar and does not include school breaks or holidays (i.e.: Christmas Recess, Spring Break, etc.)
