Academic Pursuits

Academic Pursuits Transitional Kindergarten is meant to prepare students for success in kindergarten through academic instruction and social/emotional growth. This transitional kindergarten is open to 4 year olds and is located in Elfin Forest, 15 minutes from R. Roger Rowe elementary school. It is operated as a school, NOT a daycare. It is taught by a CA credentialed teacher who is COVID vaccinated. Admission includes Writing, Reading, Vocabulary, Math, and Science curriculum, and books are included for each student. The class size will be small with a maximum of 6 students per session. The teacher has 10+ years of professional teaching experience as a world-class educator and is familiar with R. Roger Rowe curriculum as she was the former K-3 Science teacher there before beginning her own education business. Ms. Kristie also taught academic and social/emotional curriculum as a teacher at The Rhoades School in Encinitas for many years before gaining international teaching experience by traveling independently throughout 80+ countries. The teacher is CPR and First-Aid certified and will provide fun and effective instruction!
