I offer an in-home preschool program located on a quiet street along the Franklin/Norfolk town lines. My career in early education spans over 20 years.
In addition to a developmentally appropriate, cozy, indoor classroom, my school also offers an outdoor classroom so children can be immersed in nature. Having a variety of environments available for the children to explore, allows for a fully emergent curriculum. This means that all planned activities, themes, etc. arise out of the child's interests, actions, or spontaneous events. A typical day will include a variety of activities that your child will look forward to, including music, art, cooking, walks along the nature trails, gardening, and plenty of free time to explore puzzles, blocks, and play dough. I hold a degree from Anna Maria College in Music Education. I am both Director and Lead Teacher certified through the Department of Early Education. I am certified in First Aid and CPR. As this may be your child's first school experience our partnership in their education is important to me. I believe that you know your child best and I encourage input from you as we establish goals for your child. I look forward to our partnership as we navigate your child's preschool years together!
