The vet's here are AWESOME in my experience, but the reception in our experience is awful. I've had two very negative experiences recently. The first was an insane amount of hold time. I waited on hold for 20 mins, only to be sent to voice mail, when I called back, I was put on hold for another 20 minutes, and then when they finally got to me, the receptionist said something akin to "Didn't we just speak?". We needed the appointment to refill our dog's prescriptions. I understand that they are a busy vet office, but in this case the appointment was pretty urgent.

When our senior dog took a bad turn for the worse and it became apparent that it was time to put her down. My partner called to see if they had any open availability before we drove to our E.R vet. We needed a clear yes or no, and would have totally understood if they didn't have the time to fit us in. They put us on hold a few times. We ended up hanging up and heading to the E.R vet. They called us back, and when I said we wouldn't be taking her in, they argued with me and I'm sure she could hear my dog whimpering in the background.

I won't take another pet here, and I really wouldn't suggest taking your animal here. I'd rather pay more in a vet visit, and get some type of timely customer service. Abby Pet Hospital, if you are listening, get your act together. Hire some more competent employees to handle the front end.
