Licensed home childcare. Serving ages birth up to kindergarten.
Enrolled in Nutrition Program sponsored out of Yakima Catholic Charities.
Program runs from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday.
Play is the work of children. In my home children work with music, art, reading, blocks, manipultives, animals and just about anything if it can be facilitated safely.
We are screen time free so each day is about PLAY! Activities are ordered around a breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack with rest time after lunch. Most foods served are organic and as close to the direct source as possible.
My partner and I are the caregivers. We both have adult children. We each have an undergraduate degree and Janet, the owner has an MA in Ed Administration.
Our home is located in Ellensburg city limit with a rural feel. We have poultry, canines, felines and a rabbit.
We stress to parents we are parenting in your absence. Feel free to inquire about our parenting styles.
We strive with each child to help them learn to be respectful of all living creatures and the environment, encourage them to be resourceful and responsible. We do this through a consistent routine that becomes predictble by the children and giving them a sense of influencing and directing each day.
