Welcome to A Step Ahead Family Child Care Center! If a quality educational child care/preschool program is what you are searching for, look no further. At A Step Ahead you will find certified, knowledgeable child care professionals who design an exciting age appropriate curriculum that appeals to children of all ages and abilities. Using a structured schedule filled with weekly themes, your child will be guided through activities emphasizing language and literacy with arts and crafts, music and movement, computers and more. Children are encouraged to visit various learning centers (dramatic play, blocks, puzzles, iPads, etc) individually or in small groups throughout the day as well as participate in projects and activities with the group as a whole. Emphasis is placed on your child learning at his/her own pace with focus placed on first friendships, manners, life skills and school readiness. Your child will be busy learning and exploring the world around them and will look forward to returning to "school" each day. Hours: M-F 7:30-5:30. Healthy meals and snacks provided. Located on Pakachoag Street in Auburn with easy access to all major routes. We have a large fenced playground covered in beautiful cushioned turf to keep our outdoor play clean and safe!
