APlus Tutoring Center focuses on teaching K-12 and College students vital math, reading, writing, science, and test taking skills they need to well academically and in life in general. We also provide SAT & ACT tutoring.

But many other tutoring centers provide these services also, so why are we unique amongst so many other tutoring centers? It's because:

WE PERSONALLY ENSURE STUDENTS LEARN!: Our owner and director Denise Mastro is here everyday and she gets know every student personally and knows intimately their educational state and what kind of help they need to do well in school. Each time they come in, she personally reviews where the student is at, and ensures the Aplus tutors are focusing on what they need to learn most. No exceptions, our director does not allow students NOT to learn.

2. WE ARE AFFORDABLE: ****Our base rate is $27/hour****, and we allow you to pay flexibly (per session, weekly, monthly, or pre-paid). In Comparison, Sylvan, Huntington, and Kumon learning centers charge $45/hour base rate and require large upfront commitments which often cost parents several thousands of dollars for an unsure return. With our flexible payment arrangements , you can try our services out without spending lots of upfront money to see if they give your child results. Which we assure you, they will.

3. OUR TUTORS ARE EXPERIENCED, CERTIFIED AND HAVE ADVANCED DEGREES: Each of our tutors are certified, have many years of experience in either teaching or tutoring, and hold advanced degrees. All of our core math & science tutors have bachelors and masters degrees in either Engineering or Mathematics. All of our English, Reading, and Writing tutors possess bachelors and masters degrees in either Education or English.

4. WE HAVE A PROGRAM: We have specific programs for Math, Reading/Writing, and science skills that are focused on getting the student to be proficient beyond their current grade level. So depending on what the student needs, we can put them into an educational program that will advance their knowledge beyond where they currently are
