About the business
I am a Certified Academic Language Therapist / Licensed Dyslexia Practitioner in private practice. I've been in AK for five years, previously practicing in CO.
I work with individuals of all ages who are significantly behind in their academic language skills: reading, spelling, handwriting.
The Orton-Gillingham approach is used following the latest scientific research. This approach is multi sensory, sequential, incremental, cumulative, explicit, and individualized.
I also do my own assessment pre-testing using the Woodcock Johnson Revised Test, TOWS, LAC, GORT and others.
I am a therapist, as well as a mother of a dyslexic child, so I have sat on both sides of the table.
