About the business
We are Newborn Care Specialists that work with families of newborns from NICU to nursery at home and everything in between. Newborn Care Specialists were formerly known as Night Nurses or Night Nannies.
We provide full in-home care of newborn(s) all night while parents sleep.
Educate and support both parents.
Create a smooth transition for the family during the newborn stage.
Troubleshoot potential issues of concern from the parents about care of the newborn and offer professional options to resolve them.
Educate parents on soothing, swaddling and other techniques to help calm and settle baby or babies.
Diaper changing and ruffle checks.
Circumcision care.
Umbilical cord care.
Safe bathing (if requested) techniques, when to start and how often.
Bottles prepared for 24 hours ahead using formula/breast milk.
Bottle cleaning/sterilization guidelines.
Educate parents on types of formula and breast milk storage guidelines.
Assist in establishing healthy sleep habits.
Organization/Maintenance of the nursery.
Fold only clean baby laundry.
