About A Caring Hand

A Caring Hand provides private duty services such as Personal Care Attendants; hourly and 24 hour Live-in.
We also provide Homemaker, Companions, Lifeline and Same Day Assistants. All hourly services (excluding Same Day Assistant), has a two(2) hour minimum per visit.

Our Personal Care Attendant; a Certified Nurse s Aides trained in the personal care needs of our clients, i.e., bathing/shower, mouth care, shave, nail care, hair care, skin care, Incontinence care, Assist w/Dressing, ambulation/transfer, assistwith therapeutic exercises, socialization, transport/accompany to appointments, meal plan/prepare meals and medication reminders. In addition to attending to the personal care needs, our PCA s also address the care of the client s living environment, such as: Dishes, laundry, shopping and errands, clean bedroom, living area, bathroom change linens/make bed, dust. Hourly or 24 hour Live-in. Homemakers can help maintain the home in the way the client expects, ensuring a clean and safe environment, the service also includes: Errands, Grocery shopping, Housekeeping, Laundry Meal Planning and preparation and Medication Reminders and transport clients to medical and non medical appointments Companions provide the support and supervision that will enable the client or loved one to remain independent. With the strong focus on motivating and stimulating the client with social and leisure activities, services also include: Meal Preparation and errands, transportation to physician appointments, accompaniment to shopping or recreational activities. Philips Lifeline: Medical Alert System and Auto Alert Medical System a must have for our seniors who live alone. We design each Plan of Care to meet the individual needs of each client. All our Caregiver s must pass a National and Statewide background check, Drug test, Driving Background, Vehicle Insurance and Reference Check.
