55th Street School offers Preschool and Prekindergarten classes for children ages 2 years - 5 years. Preschool runs 9:00 - 3:00 with before school care offered from 7:30- 9:00. Families can choose to come 2, 3, 4, or 5 days per week. We have been in business in the Bryant/Ravenna area of Seattle since 1985, in a very child friendly house. We have a preschool class for 2 & 3 year olds and a prekindergarten class for 4 & 5 year olds. Our school year runs from September - June. We are play based and offer a good balance of free choice play, teacher directed story and circle time and outdoor play. Rain or shine we are always playing learning and having fun!
