About the business
I have 10 years teaching experience in grades 3-5. My degree is in Exceptional Student Education, with most of this experience being with students with Specific Learning Disabilities. I was awarded Elementary Math Teacher of the Year for Broward County in 2015 and Teacher of the Year for my school in 2014. While staying home this year to take care of my new baby girl, I am thrilled to continue teaching through after school tutoring. My favorite thought on education is from Einstein himself- Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing it is stupid. I pride myself in assisting students overcome obstacles while simultaneously finding confidence in their natural abilities. Please don t hesitate to ask about small group discounts!
