Children's Creative Learning Center At Fiu

The CCLC at FIU will offer a welcoming, secure, diverse, and multi-cultural environment. Each child will receive an opportunity for optimal growth and development through the Center's socio-emotional based early education program, which includes development in the following areas: communication, expression of feelings, decision making and critical thinking experiences enhancing their social, emotional, cognitive, physical, aesthetic, and language development. Families will have the opportunity to become active participants in their children's education, enhance their parenting skills, and partner with the teachers through family meetings, parent workshops, classroom observations, and participation. The Center also will serve as a demonstration and research site for departments of the university and programs in the community, as well as a training site for university students.
