About
Monterey's Children's Creative Learning Center (CCLC) is a community-based preschool sponsored by the City of Monterey. As such we offer a 10% discount to City of Monterey employees. We serve children 6 weeks old to 5 years old. Our classrooms are developmentally designed for the age groups they serve and each class has its own outdoor play area. We are open to the public and located on the Presidio overlooking beautiful MontereyBay just up from Cannery Row.?Our center is open Monday-Friday from 7am to 6pm.
We teach a play-based ?Guided Discovery Curriculum? daily to our students. Our curriculum is based in the latest research of how children best learn math, science, creative arts, language, social and physical development. We also have a highly experienced teaching team that have all taken college level early childhood education classes and are certified in Pediatric CPR and First Aid.
