Roman Degtyur was appointed Chief Information Officer for Care.com in February 2021 after having joined the Company as Senior Vice President, Infrastructure & Security following IAC’s acquisition of the Company a year earlier. In this capacity, he is responsible for overseeing Care’s global Infrastructure Operations and Information Security, including DevOps, Cloud Operations, IT Infrastructure, User Support, Enterprise Systems, Information Security, and IT Compliance

Prior to joining Care, Roman spent 20 years at IAC in a variety of operations and technology leadership roles, most recently leading Infrastructure and Security at IAC’s Ask Applications and Mosaic Group. Among his many notable achievements there was a recent two-year migration of thousands of systems and hundreds of applications across multiple IAC business verticals from five global on-premise data centers to the Cloud.
