Nancy Bushkin was appointed Head of Communications and Public Relations in July 2022 after having served as Senior Vice President, Global Communications of Care.com since July 2020. She joined Care in April 2012 as Vice President, Global PR and Corporate Communications. Nancy oversees all global media and press activities for Care.com, including corporate and employee communications and public relations, and manages the Company’s organic social and editorial content teams. She also partners with cross-functional stakeholders across the organization on issues ranging from policy to safety and also manages various strategic partnerships and relationships on behalf of the Company and the senior management team.
Nancy brings to Care.com more than 30 years of communications experience across a variety of industries, ranging from start-up to Fortune 500 companies, both privately held and publicly traded. During her career, she has helped take three companies public. She joined Care.com after having led the PR function for Home Shopping Network (HSN), Atari Inc., and Spelling Entertainment. Earlier, Nancy spent nearly 10 years in the Corporate Relations Department of Viacom, Inc., serving in a variety of roles, including Director, Corporate Relations during the company’s multi-billion dollar acquisitions of Paramount and Blockbuster.
Nancy received her A.B. from Harvard University.
