About Savannah

I have a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. I got my degree in Theater Arts with a focus in Lighting Design as well as minors in French and Political Science. My curriculum involved humanities classes as well as upper level math classes (Calculus & Statistics). I like tutoring because I love seeing people (of all ages) finally understand the material they are struggling with and start investing in their own education. When working with a student, I like to develop an individual plan to help them succeed. I'd describe my personality as bubbly, patient, and empathetic. I started tutoring when I was in high school as a peer tutor in math. I have worked off and on as a tutor since, expanding my subject base as my training and knowledge expanded as well. In my spare time, I like to play Magic the Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, and other board games. I also love to spend time with my cats.
