About Joel

I'm currently a retired university professor and I work as needed as a CNAII with Carepartners (more specifically at Solace Hospice). I have always enjoyed working with seniors and am totally enjoying my work now as a retiree. I also have additional training from my time as a RN student. There is really nothing that I'm not comfortable with as far as care is concerned. I am comfortable caring for men and women and have had experience with both. During nursing school and the beginning of COVID lockdown, I worked at an assisted living facility and was a CNAII/medtech and took care of 20-30 clients each night from 10-7. I consider myself a very calming caregiver, both for the clients and for their family members. I consider it a great honor to take care of some of the amazing people of our older generation. My work with hospice is very rewarding and being able to assist families/clients with end of life care and transition is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done.
