My tutor experience varies from working at Kumon and teaching children of all levels, as well as managing the Junior Kumon services where I would work individually or in a group setting with younger children of all types of academic backgrounds. I have also tutored kids privately for a few years in areas of reading/writing comprehension and mathematics. I am a York University graduate in the field of health studies, and I am beginning nursing school in September. Aside from my academic qualifications and experiences, I also have a passion for helping out within the community. Tutoring students will give me the opportunity not only to aid in the development of their academic skillsets, but to also learn from them and develop a more knowledgeable and multidisciplinary mindset, when working with a variety of individuals. Helping others achieve their goals and seeing them satisfied and happy with their accomplishments is rewarding, and I enjoy being apart of such experience.
