I started tutoring while in high school, at first with fellow students who needed extra help on upcoming tests and essays, then continued throughout university. I broadened my tutoring practice while at university, helping adults and children with a wider variety of subjects. I helped with such subjects as English (reading, writing, editing, essay development, test preparation and ESL); Elementary Math and History; and basic computer skills (navigating, and Microsoft Word documents). Furthermore, I've created individualized lesson plans and sessions that involved general confidence building, vocal practice, special needs assistance, research skills and time management techniques.
