My husband needs a PSW or someone with nursing experience to help with his personal hygiene and care. He is bed bound, tube fed and doubly incontinent. He is a LIHN client and 3 PSWs drop in daily to provide hygiene care except on Sundays. Therefore, a PSW is required to visit at 6:00 pm every Sunday for no more than 1 hr. Since my husband is on a feeding pump and also medication that needs to be administered at specific times, you will need to be punctual as he will not be able to receive the prescribed dose of food & medication otherwise. The rate offered is $50 per visit for the 1st hr and $37.50 for subsequent hrs if required. You will need to provide proof of COVID vaccination (at least 1 initial dose with 2 boosters). Evidence of recent negative COVID screens is also preferred. This position is ideal for final year nursing students or someone with good infection control experience. For PPE, you will need to be masked and use contact precautions (gloves are required). I will provide disinfectants and hygiene cleansing supplies. In keeping with Canada Revenue Agency requirements, I will need your Social Insurance Number in order to appoint and remunerate you and a tax receipt as proof of payment.

Looking for a nurse that can help me with twice weekly injections because I don't like doing this myself. I would prefer someone in my building that can stop by my unit or I can stop there, or meet somewhere in the building.
