We are looking for ongoing, occasional childcare for our 2 active boys 9/12. We don’t have set hours but are looking for the right person to help our family in an ongoing way. Drivers license would be a bonus. On a weekend, my husband and I would like a couple hours during the day. Otherwise, sometimes we will need help during the week if one of the boys is home from school and I need to work, or evenings when one kid is at hockey and the other needs to be somewhere else. Also occasionally we go out in the evening. They do best with caregivers who are empathetic and good with boys. They both love sports and are quite competitive. The 12 year old has some special needs, he has ADHD and is easily irritable. He’s old enough now that he manages well. The right person will be sensitive to reading the vibe and giving him space when he needs it. The 9 year old is very high energy. Being comfortable helping them resolve disagreements is important.

Hi there, Looking for short-term help over the period of June 17 through and July 19 for a busy family. We need an extra set of hands around the house to help us with laundry (washing and folding), making beds, tidying the kitchen and light kitchen cleaning, and meal prep. Meal prep would involve simple tasks like washing and prepping vegetables for cooking, or preparing simple recipes. We are hoping to find someone who can come a few times a week for a few hours each time. There is the possibility to extend this to a permanent position past July.
